Record #195267:
Zooplankton of the Nordic and Barents seas / Astthor Gislason, and 4 others.
Title: | Zooplankton of the Nordic and Barents seas / Astthor Gislason, and 4 others. |
Author(s): | Gislason, Astthor. |
Date: | 2011. |
In: | ICES Cooperative Research Report. (2011.), Vol. 307 (2011) |
Abstract: | Reports abundance of zooplankton in Nordic and Barents seas. Notes that populations of zooplankton are dominated by Arctic-boreal species, and that there is typical seasonal cycle of primary and secondary production, beginning with spring bloom triggered by light and water-column stabilisation through stratification. |
Notes: | ICES Cooperative Research Report. Vol. 307 :37-57 (2011). |
