Translated title: Study of hydrocryogenic components on the south-west coast of Baikal (ecological and geochemical aspect).

In: Led i Sneg. (2010.), Vol. 2(110) (2010)
Abstract: Investigates hydrocryogenic components within system of snow cover/lake ice/under-ice water and shore area snow cover around Listvyanka village on south-western shore of Lake Baykal. Presents geochemical compositions of each component based on sampling at 46 locations, and establishes index to characterise intensity of involvement into the ice of substances dissolved together with ice-forming water. Observes that each ion species has individual involvement index, and that, e.g., among anions chloride is involved fully. Also shows that total solids in snow cover are higher than in ice and under-ice water, and that chemical composition of ice cover is influenced by both underlying water column and atmospheric precipitation.
