Climate change in the Norwegian Arctic: consequences for life in the North / Ellen Øeth.

Title: Climate change in the Norwegian Arctic: consequences for life in the North / Ellen Øeth.
Author(s): Øeth, Ellen.
Date: 2010.
In: Norsk Polarinstitutt. Rapportserie. (2010.), Vol. 136 (2010)
Abstract: Discusses ways in which climate change could affect ecosystems and communities in North. Presents key findings identified in Norwegian Arctic Climate Impact Assessmwent (NorACIA) for Svalbard, northern Norway and surrounding oceans. Notes complexity of climate modelling process and uncertainties about future climate trends, but argues that this should not prevent action to reduce industrial emissions and to prepare for climate change and its effects.
