Abstract: Assesses several agents of infectious diseases reported in Antarctic seabirds and seals for their likelihood to occur more frequently in terms of characteristics of agent, behaviour of Antarctic wildlife, and effects of regional warming in conjunction with continued increasing human activities. Diseases include avian cholera, avian pox and various human enteric pathogens. Human activities include scientific research and support operations, and commercial tourism.
