Летние и зимние температуры воздуха в северном Забайкалье в период формирования голоценовых повторно-жильных льдов

Title: Летние и зимние температуры воздуха в северном Забайкалье в период формирования голоценовых повторно-жильных льдов
Title, transliterated: Letnie i zimnie temperatury vozdukha v severnom Zabaĭkalʹe v period formirovanii︠a︡ golot︠s︡enovykh povtorno-zhilʹnykh lʹdov / I︠U︡.K. Vasilʹchuk, A.K. Vasilʹchuk, I︠U︡.V. Stanilovskai︠a︡.
Translated title: Summer and winter air temperatures in northern Transbaykal during the formation of Holocene ice wedges.
Author(s): Vasilʹchuk, I︠U︡. K.
Vasilʹchuk, A. K.
Stanilovskai︠a︡, I︠U︡. V.
Date: 2010.
Language: Russian.
In: Kriosfera Zemli. (2010.), Vol. 14(2) (2010)
Abstract: Analyzes syngenetic ice wedges, isotopic composition, radiocarbon age, and pollen spectra of surrounding deposits as part of long-term study of "Belyy Klyuch" on first terrace of Chara River. Ice wedges formed 10 to 7.5 ka ¹⁴C BP, during first half of Holocene optimum for south Siberia. Reports isotopic compositions of ice wedges and river and lake waters, with lightest δ¹⁸O and δD values (-23 and -180 per mil) found in relict ice wedges. Ice wedge isotopic compositions indicate mean winter temperatures during cold stages of Holocene optimum 2-3°C lower than today's and total winter temperatures colder by 300-600 °C-days. Warm stages saw mean winter temperatures close to modern ones.
