Record #192542:

The overflow transport east of Iceland / Svein Østerhus, and 3 others.

Title: The overflow transport east of Iceland / Svein Østerhus, and 3 others.
Author(s): Østerhus, Svein.
Date: 2008.
Publisher: Dordrecht: Springer
In: Arctic-subarctic ocean fluxes : defining the role of the northern seas in climate. (2008.),
Abstract: Presents overview of overflows east of Iceland, where dense water passes from Norwegian Sea across Ireland-Scotland Ridge into Atlantic Ocean. Together, these overflows have been estimated to yield volume transport of similar magnitude to that through Denmark Strait. Eastern overflows contribute approx. 50% of dense overflow from Arctic "Mediterranean" into North Atlantic.
