Abstract: | Investigates symptoms and predicting factors of depression and anxiety among reindeer-herding Saami in Sweden, using cross-sectional questionnaire study on mental health. Finds that Saami population discloses higher mean values for both depression and anxiety than reference groups, with Saami men reporting highest rates. Work-related stress is associated with anxiety and depression in Saami group. |
