Abstract: | Reports retrospective observational study of consecutive birth-log data an medical records on pregnant women who had given birth in Nuuk during 2008. Finds gestational prevalence of gestational diabetes mellitus among Greenlanders to be relatively low, Notes, however, that diabetes mellitus is relatively new disease in Greenland, and glucose intolerance in pregnancy is more likely to affect next generation. |
