Record #191947:

Global patterns of biomass burning during the last glacial period / Anne-Laure Daniau.

Title: Global patterns of biomass burning during the last glacial period / Anne-Laure Daniau.
Author(s): Daniau, Anne-Laure.
Date: 2010.
In: PAGES News. (2010.), Vol. 18(2) (2010)
Abstract: Outlines study of fire records covering last glacial period (73.5-14.7 ka) which examines response of biomass burning to rapid climate changes (within 10-200 years) that occurred during Dansgaard-Oeschger (D-O) cycles. D-O cycles are characterised in Greenland ice-core records by marked warming followed by gradual cooling.
