| Abstract: | Describes landforms with semicircular or horse-shoe ridges in mountain area of Swedish Lapland. Interprets as landslide or avalanche deposits directly upon, from or adjacent to down-wasting ice. Since they are restricted to vicinity of fault scarps in Pärvie fault system, suggests that releasing factor is displacement of bedrock blocks or related seismic activity. |
