Record #191905:

Illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing in the circumpolar Arctic / Magdalena A.K. Muir.

Title: Illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing in the circumpolar Arctic / Magdalena A.K. Muir.
Author(s): Muir, Magdalena A. K.
Date: 2010.
In: Arctic. (2010.), Vol. 63(3) (2010)
Abstract: Examines several northern fisheries in context of illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing scenarios for Arctic: commercial fishing in Canadian and US Beaufort Sea, offshore halibut fishery adjacent to Nunavut, and Irminger Sea redfish fishery on Reykjanes Ridge of North Atlantic. Also considers current regulatory regimes for IUU fisheries in Antarctica and Europe, which provide potential models for Arctic fisheries.
