Abstract: Investigates effects of elevation and latitude on northern spider assemblages by sampling along nine mountains across three latitudes in Yukon Territory. Identifies main effects of latitude, elevation and interaction of both factors on species richness and abundance. Finds that habitat-realted changes along spatial gradients can have significant effects on structure of spider assemblages, but that responses vary among mountain ranges.
