ICES report on ocean climate 2009 / S.L. Hughes, N.P. Holliday, A. Beszczynska-Möller, eds.

Title: ICES report on ocean climate 2009 / S.L. Hughes, N.P. Holliday, A. Beszczynska-Möller, eds.
Author(s): Hughes, S. L.,
Holliday, N. P.,
Beszczynska-Möller, A.,
Date: 2010.
In: ICES Cooperative Research Report. (2010.), Vol. 304 (2010)
Abstract: Describes sea temperature and salinity of North Atlantic during 2009, and observed trends over past decade. Focuses on observed variability in upper ocean (i.e. upper 1,000 m). Also summarises variability of intermediate and deep waters of North Atlantic. Notes that upper layers of northern North Atlantic and Nordic seas were warm and saline in 2009 compared with long-term average.
Notes:
