Влияние метеорологических условий на интенсивность таяния и опреснение минерализованного искусственного фирна

Title: Влияние метеорологических условий на интенсивность таяния и опреснение минерализованного искусственного фирна
Title, transliterated: Vlii︠a︡nie meteorologicheskikh usloviĭ na intensivnostʹ tai︠a︡nii︠a︡ i opresnenie mineralizovannogo iskusstvennogo firna / I.I. Kontorovich, A.V. Sosnovskiĭ.
Translated title: Influence of meteorological conditions on the intensity of melting and desalination of mineralized artificial firn.
Author(s): Kontorovich, I. I.
Sosnovskiĭ, A. V.
Date: 2009.
Language: Russian.
In: Materialy Gli︠a︡t︠s︡iologicheskikh Issledovaniĭ. (2009.), Vol. 107 (2009)
Abstract: Discusses method for calculating melting intensity in mineralised porous ice. Estimates influences of meteorological parameters (solar radiation, air temperature, wind, humidity) and ice structure on melting. Presents calculated melting intensities in good agreement with data from natural measurements. Shows that humidity of porous ice grows with increasing melting intensity but desalination efficiency is reduced.
