Вероятностная оценка возможной эволюции оледенения и стока Кыргызстана при прогнозируемых климатических изменениях

Title: Вероятностная оценка возможной эволюции оледенения и стока Кыргызстана при прогнозируемых климатических изменениях
Title, transliterated: Veroi︠a︡tnostnai︠a︡ ot︠s︡enka vozmozhnoĭ ėvoli︠u︡t︠s︡ii oledenenii︠a︡ i stoka Kyrgyzstana pri prognoziruemykh klimaticheskikh izmenenii︠a︡kh / V.A. Kuzʹmichyonok.
Translated title: Probablistic assessment of possible changes of glaciers and runoff in Kyrgyzstan at the projected climatic changes.
Author(s): Kuzʹmichyonok, V. A.
Date: 2009.
Language: Russian.
In: Materialy Gli︠a︡t︠s︡iologicheskikh Issledovaniĭ. (2009.), Vol. 107 (2009)
Abstract: Uses probabilistic analysis of air temperature and precipitation change forecasts to year 2010 (based on intergovernmental panel climate change scenarios) to establish dependences on latitude, longitude and altitude. Forecasts changes for given points within territory of Kyrgyzstan and assesses possible evolution of glaciation, based on model developed specifically for each glacier appearing in Glacier Inventory of USSR. Summarises results for Kyrgyzstan as whole and for main hydrological basins. Maps likely changes in glacier distribution for 2050. Forecasts that annual water loss from glaciers will peak around 2020, with considerable decrease in water flow from glacier runoff by 2100.
