Abstract: | Discusses and analyses climate variability trends in 20th century, noting that global warming reaches maximum rate at high northern latitudes. Annual temperature in northern Norway has increased significantly, with linear trend of approx. 0.1°C per decade since 1900. Warm period in 1930s is extremely evident. For all parts of northern Norway, except Finnmark, there are significant positive temperature trends for spring, summer and autumn seasons. |
