In: Geografiska Annaler. Series A. Physical Geography. (2010.), Vol. 92(2) (2010)
Abstract: Analyzes observational records for 19 large rivers encompassing entire Arctic region between 1977-2007. Calculates trends in total annual water discharge, melt month and peak month discharge for individual systems based on records with monthly time resolution. Finds consistent increase in annual discharge over entire region (+9.8%) over past 30 years.
