Abstract: | Describes morphology of fossil pollen from sedimentary, tertiary rocks on Fildes Peninsula, King George Island and from two locations in continental Chile, and compares with current Chilean Proteaceae. Eight fossil forms belonged to genus Proteacidites, three to Propylipollis and two to Triorites, and were mainly in Miocene sediments from continental Chile and from Upper Eocene from King George Island. |
