Abstract: Reports results of integrated study carried out on biogenic sediments, foraminiferal abundance and ice-rafted detritus of core M03 in Chukchi Basin, to investigate preservation conditions of biogenic components and environmental changes during late Quaternary. Results show that since Marine Isotope Stage 7, calcium carbonate and planktonic foraminiferal abundance increased and decreased during interglacial and glacial periods, respectively.
