Record #189990:

Erosion of sediment and organic carbon from the Kara Sea coast / Irina D. Streletskaya, Alexander A. Vasiliev, Boris Vanstein.

Title: Erosion of sediment and organic carbon from the Kara Sea coast / Irina D. Streletskaya, Alexander A. Vasiliev, Boris Vanstein.
Author(s): Streletskaya, Irina D.
Vasiliev, Alexander A.
Vanstein, Boris.
Date: 2009.
In: Arctic, Antarctic, and Alpine Research. (2009.), Vol. 41(1) (2009)
Abstract: Estimates erosion of sediment and organic carbon input from Kara Sea coasts based on extensive mapping, geological and cryolithological investigations of coastal zone and seafloor sediments, and revision of previously published data. Determines amount of coastal sediment eroded into Kara Sea to be approx 35 million tons.
Notes:
