Abstract: | Reports that government of Nunavut (GN) expects to spend only Can$ 111.4 million on buildings, equipment and infrastructure in 2010 (approx. half of current level of expenditure), although expenditure will remain at least Can$ 20 million higher than budgets approved in GN's 2009-2013 five-year capital plan. GN intends to meet commitments contained in Tamapta mandate document, including doubling of money available for home ownership programmes, airport improvements, municipal infrastructure, staff housing for school employees and prospective Nunavut Heritage Centre. |
