| Abstract: | Reports field experiment conducted between 2001-05 in Swedish mountains close to Ammarnäs, to estimate decay rate of reindeer faecal pellet groups. Aim of research was to establish decay rates in different habitat types (alpine heath, birch forest and spruce forest) and to apply results to reindeer census based on count of pellet groups. |
