Record #188551:

L'Arctique sous surveillance: le projet POLARCAT / Jean-François Gayet.

Title: L'Arctique sous surveillance: le projet POLARCAT / Jean-François Gayet.
Translated title: The Arctic under surveillance: the POLARCAT project.
Author(s): Gayet, Jean-François.
Date: 2008.
Language: French.
In: Institut Polaire Français Paul Émile Victor (IPEV). Rapport d'Activité. (2008.), Vol. 2007 (2008)
Abstract: Describes POLARCAT project, which is investigating long-range pole-ward transport of aerosols and trace gases. French contribution to POLARCAT objectives consists of conducting series of unique aircraft measurements of tropospheric pollutants in northern Europe, Greenland and Russia. Results should give new insights into role played by tropospheric chemistry, aerosols and transport pathways in processes leading to Arctic climate change.
