| Abstract: | Describes research programme NIVMER/ROSAME, related to satellite altimetry validation and secular mean sea level trends. Recent expeditions have recovered and studied historical benchmark data from 1874-75 French Transit of Venus expedition to Île Saint-Paul; and installed new tide gauge at Cape Denison, site of Mawson's 1911-14 expedition. |
