Describes building of inventory database centring on World Wide Web and notes possibility that failure to search in Japanese or Chinese, for example, may mean significant organizations were missed. Divides entities identified into: archives and monitoring; research and academic institutions; and institutions for which glaciers have special significance, and discusses notable features of each section. |
