Abstract: Uses terrestrial cosmogenic nuclide ¹⁰Be exposure dating to derive exposure ages of six glacially transported boulders. Ages are internally consistent, with mean of 13.6 ± 0.9 ka. Adjusts this for effects of surface erosion, snow burial and isostatic rebound to obtain age of 14.4 ± 0.9 ka for Vimmerby moraine, consisent with previous estimates for timing of deglaciation based on radiocarbon dating and varve chronology.
