| Abstract: | Presents data on hydrochemistry and suspended sediment dynamics from small glaciated catchment in Svalbard. Hydrochemical data from seasonal observations and complementary 24-hour measurements, together with detailed geomorphological mapping of river channels and their surroundings, form basis of scientific description of conditioning of seasonal and diurnal variations in suspended and solute matter transported in small High-Arctic catchment. Finds that particular role in conditioning of glaciofluvial transport is played by extreme weather event in form of föhn-type wind. |
