| Abstract: | Evaluates success, ten years after creation of Nunavut Territory, of Nunavut government's vision for region as reflected in Bathurst Mandate (which outlined socio-economic goals and visions for period 2000-2020). Concludes that, in view of current situation, it is unlikely that vision of viable socio-economic environment expressed in Bathurst Mandate will be achieved by 2020. |
