Abstract: Reports on North Peace Energy Corporation's Red Earth pilot project in northern Alberta. Cyclic steam injection (form of thermal stimulation) is being used to demonstrate feasibility of producing economic quantities of bitumen from resource and to test economic and technical parameters before undertaking commercial exploitation.
