| Abstract: | Report, compiled in 1966 for official purposes and originally classified, gives details of findings of expedition to various parts of Yamalo-Nenetskiy AO to study contemporary ethnic processes. Reports results of analysis of local and district documents, those of village councils, conversations with local leaders, medical workers, teachers, workers and observations of daily life of local population. Notes lack of teachers speaking native languages to detriment of indigenous children. |
