Abstract: Examines applicability of greenery ratio (GR) to estimation of gross primary production (GPP) for wet tundra in Arctic by using empirical model including relationship between tundra GR and observed tower-based carbon fluxes. Verifies GR-GPP relationship in tower site case and applies relationship to regional MODIS data to estimate CO₂ budget over wet tundra in North Slope, Alaska.
