Record #187620:

Change of surface albedo and plant cover after 2004 wildfire in a black spruce forest in interior Alaska / Yuji Kodama, Shiro Tsuyuzaki, Keiji Kushida.

Title: Change of surface albedo and plant cover after 2004 wildfire in a black spruce forest in interior Alaska / Yuji Kodama, Shiro Tsuyuzaki, Keiji Kushida.
Author(s): Kodama, Yuji.
Tsuyuzaki, Shiro.
Kushida, Keiji.
Date: 2008.
Publisher: [Tokyo]: ISAR-1
In: First International Symposium on Arctic Research (ISAR-1) : drastic change under global warming. (2008.),
Abstract: Examines hypothesis that plant cover mostly determines surface albedo, in context of ground surfaces which have modified following forest fire. Presents results of monitoring albedo of burned surfaces with varying severity of burn, and discusses relationship to biomass and plant composition.
Notes:

In: The First International Symposium on Arctic Research (ISAR-1) : drastic change under global warming / Hiroshi L. Tanaka, chairman.
