Record #187618:

The sources of sediment and particulate organic matters in the glacial Tanana River, Alaska / Tomoyuki Wada, and 3 others.

Title: The sources of sediment and particulate organic matters in the glacial Tanana River, Alaska / Tomoyuki Wada, and 3 others.
Author(s): Wada, Tomoyuki.
Date: 2008.
Publisher: [Tokyo]: ISAR-1
In: First International Symposium on Arctic Research (ISAR-1) : drastic change under global warming. (2008.),
Abstract: Examines influence of glacier-melt discharge on suspended sediment and particulate organic matter yield in Tanana River basin (tributary of Yukon River). Finds glacier regions, which occupy only 5.6% of Tanana River basin, to be important sources of runoff, suspended sediment and particulate organic matter. Glacier regions yield 50% of discharge, 98% of suspended sediment and 43% of particulate organic carbon.
Notes:

In: The First International Symposium on Arctic Research (ISAR-1) : drastic change under global warming / Hiroshi L. Tanaka, chairman.
