Record #187596:

The relationship between the climate variability and development mechanisms of spatio-temporal Emiliania huxleyi blooms in the eastern Bering Sea shelf / Takahiro Iida, and 3 others.

Title: The relationship between the climate variability and development mechanisms of spatio-temporal Emiliania huxleyi blooms in the eastern Bering Sea shelf / Takahiro Iida, and 3 others.
Author(s): Iida, Takahiro.
Date: 2008.
Publisher: [Tokyo]: ISAR-1
In: First International Symposium on Arctic Research (ISAR-1) : drastic change under global warming. (2008.),
Abstract: Investigates temporal and spatial variability of Emiliania huxleyi blooms on Bering Sea shelf. Uses ocean colour remote sensing data to elucidate mechanism responsible for development of E. huxleyi blooms in response to climate variability. Discusses relationship between temporal and spatial variability of E. huxleyi bloom and salinity and nitrate + nitrite distributions between 1997-2006.
Notes:

In: The First International Symposium on Arctic Research (ISAR-1) : drastic change under global warming / Hiroshi L. Tanaka, chairman.
