Abstract: Account of contributions of University of Alaska's student body to Alaska Constitutional Convention and overall statehood movement. Students petitioned convention on issue of direct importance to them - age at which citizen of future state would be granted right to vote. When convention was adjourned, students worked to advance cause of statehood on national scale.
