Record #187376:

Modeling Arctic Ocean heat transport and warming episodes in the 20th century caused by the intruding Atlantic water / Jia Wang, and 8 others.

Title: Modeling Arctic Ocean heat transport and warming episodes in the 20th century caused by the intruding Atlantic water / Jia Wang, and 8 others.
Author(s): Wang, Jia.
Date: 2008.
In: Chinese Journal of Polar Science. (2008.), Vol. 19(2) (2008)
Abstract: Investigates Arctic Ocean warming episodes in 20th century using both high-resolution coupled global climate model and historical observations. Model, with no flux adjustment, accurately reproduces Atlantic water core temperature in Arctic Ocean and shows that four largest decadal-scale warming episodes occurred in 1930s, 70s, 80s and 90s, in agreement with hydrographic observational data.
Notes:

Chinese Journal of Polar Science. Vol. 19(2) :159-167 (2008).

In special issue Pacific Arctic Group (PAG) model-data fusion studies in the Arctic Ocean and subpolar seas.
