Record #187374:

Toward development of the 4Dvar data assimilation system in the Bering Sea: reconstruction of the mean dynamic ocean topography / Gleb Panteleev, and 5 others.

Title: Toward development of the 4Dvar data assimilation system in the Bering Sea: reconstruction of the mean dynamic ocean topography / Gleb Panteleev, and 5 others.
Author(s): Panteleev, Gleb.
Date: 2008.
In: Chinese Journal of Polar Science. (2008.), Vol. 19(2) (2008)
Abstract: Presents estimate of mean climatological sea surface height (SSH) that can be used as reference for satellite altimetry sea level anomaly data in Bering Sea region. Numerical experiments reveal that, when combined with satellite altimetry, obtained reference SSH effectively constrains realistic reconstruction of Amukta Pass circulation.
Notes:

Chinese Journal of Polar Science. Vol. 19(2) :123-134 (2008).

In special issue Pacific Arctic Group (PAG) model-data fusion studies in Arctic Ocean and subpolar seas.
