| Abstract: | Reports use of aerial survey estimates, photographic censuses and plot counts to examine trends in size of five black legged kittiwake (Rissa tridactyla) colonies around Barrow Strait, eastern Nunavut, from 1972-2007. Finds number of kittiwakes breeding in region to have increased by over 40%. |
