I︠A︡kutsk = Influence of climatic and ecological changes on permafrost ecosystems : proceedings of the Third international conference "The role of permafrost ecosystems in global climate change", 27-31 August 2006, Yakutsk. (2007.),
Abstract: Reports results of long-term monitoring of active layer and frost-related processes and features in agricultural ecosystems, conducted during period 1989-2005 at Kerdyugen, Meneika and Rozha sites on terrace of Lena river near Yakutsk. Presents distribution of frost-related phenomena in cryogenic agroecosytems underlain by "ice-complex" (ice-rich sediments and large polygonal ice wedges) and map of disturbance of permafrost conditions by climate change, increased snow accumulation and anthropogenic impacts. Discusses dynamics of cryogenic processes and agreocosystem transformation to unusable land.
