Record #187034:

High species turnover and decreasing plant species richness on mountain summits in Sweden: reindeer grazing overrides climate change? Comment / Leif Kullman.

Title: High species turnover and decreasing plant species richness on mountain summits in Sweden: reindeer grazing overrides climate change? Comment / Leif Kullman.
Author(s): Kullman, Leif.
Date: 2009.
In: Arctic, Antarctic, and Alpine Research. (2009.), Vol. 41(1) (2009)
Abstract: Reports discrepancy between plant species diversity found by author on alpine summit areas in Swedish Scandes in 2004 and results of survey of same summits by Moen and Lagerström in 2008 which used similar methodology. Author believes that 2008 survey was carried out too early in season, before emergence of several species.
