Abstract: | Summarises presentations at workshop on climate change and health held in Anchorage, 13-15 February 2008. Purposes of workshop were: to update current knowledge on impact of climate change on human health; to examine principal conclusions of Arctic Climate Impact assessment (ACIA) on health to determine items for action; and to examine feasibility of implementing community-based monitoring strategies within and across regions to measure and report common set of climate, health status, environmental, infrastructure and ecosystem indicators. |
