| Abstract: | Establishes that by day of Genaldon catastrophe (20th September 2002), two automodelling structures had been generated on Kolka glacier, but that they did not cooperate due to impacts of large landslides of ice and rock. Structures were: capacity of impact centre, in which 6.6 million m³ of water had been accumulated, and porous layer of crushed ice on rocky bed of about 35 million m³, able to accumulate up to 7 million m³ of water and to pass 20 thousand m³/s. |
