Роль зимних заприпайных полыней и формировании ледовых и гидрологических условий в морях Сибирского шельфа в летний период

Title: Роль зимних заприпайных полыней и формировании ледовых и гидрологических условий в морях Сибирского шельфа в летний период
Title, transliterated: Rolʹ zimnikh zapripaĭnykh polyneĭ i formirovanii ledovykh i gidrologicheskikh usloviĭ v mori︠a︡kh Sibirskogo shelʹfa v letniĭ period / A.V. Popov, I.D. Karelin, A.V. Rubcheni︠a︡.
Translated title: The role of winter flaw lead polynyas in ice formation and hydrological conditions in seas of the Siberian shelf during summer.
Author(s): Popov, A. V.
Karelin, I. D.
Rubcheni︠a︡, A. V.
Date: 2007.
Language: Russian.
In: Meteorologii︠a︡ i Gidrologii︠a︡. (2007.), Vol. 9 (2007)
Abstract: Analyzes influence of flaw lead polynyas in seas of Siberian shelf on formation of ice conditions in summer. Based on ten-day data for 1978-2002 obtained from satellite imagery, presents forecasts of summer ice conditions, reporting 94.7% correspondence with observational data, and demonstrates mutual influence of atmospheric and ice processes in case when winter atmospheric processes determine ice conditions for following summer and autumn.
