Abstract: Presents comparative study of lipase, peroxidase, IAA-oxidase, superoxide dismutase, catalase in needles, inner bark of stem and roots of 10-year-old self-sown Pinus sylvestris specimens in Central Siberia in their natural habitat and in experimental conditions replicating effect of permafrost. Shows that decrease in rhizosphere temperature of self-sown trees not only causes change in morphogenensis of seedlings of current year and reduction in annual ring size, but also shift in natural dynamics of antioxidant enzyme activity over longer period.
