Antarctic scientific bases: environmental and cultural heritage perspectives 1983-2008 / Ricardo Roura.

Title: Antarctic scientific bases: environmental and cultural heritage perspectives 1983-2008 / Ricardo Roura.
Author(s): Roura, Ricardo.
Date: 2008.
Publisher: Oslo: International Council on Monuments and Sites. International Polar Heritage Committee
In: Historical Polar bases : preservation and management. (2008.),
Abstract: Examines designation of Antarctic scientific stations as historic sites and monuments (HSMs) under Antarctic Treaty System (ATS) from evolving and sometimes contrasting perspectives of protecting environmental and cultural values.
