Record #186441:

Construction of a low-temperature protein expression system using a cold-adapted bacterium, Shewanella sp. strain Ac10, as the host / Ryoma Miyake, and 6 others.

Title: Construction of a low-temperature protein expression system using a cold-adapted bacterium, Shewanella sp. strain Ac10, as the host / Ryoma Miyake, and 6 others.
Author(s): Miyake, Ryoma.
Date: 2007.
Publisher: [Washington, DC]: American Society for Microbiology
Abstract: Recombinant protein expression systems working at low temperatures are expected to be useful for production of thermolabile proteins. Evaluation of promoters for proteins abundantly produced at 4°C in Shewanella sp. strain Ac10, isolated from Antarctic seawater, to express foreign proteins indicates that amounts of putative peptidases PepF and PepQ produced by this system were greater than those produced by Escherichia coli T7 promoter system.
