Abstract: Presents recommendations for measures to bring compartmentalised governmental processes in line with new, comprehensive definition of stewardship of marine environment in Hudson Bay (ensuring sustained health of marine life, irrespective of political boundaries and jursidictions). Notes importatance of making complementary use of scientific and Inuit traditional environmental knowledge to understand transboundary effects of Arctic marine ecosystem of natural and human-induced changes.
