Record #186288:

The Upper Triassic of northern Middle Siberia: stratigraphy and palynology / Natalya V. Ilyina, Alexander Y. Egorov.

Title: The Upper Triassic of northern Middle Siberia: stratigraphy and palynology / Natalya V. Ilyina, Alexander Y. Egorov.
Author(s): Ilyina, Natalya V.
Egorov, Alexander Y.
Date: 2008.
In: Polar Research. (2008.), Vol. 27(3) (2008)
Abstract: Presents results of palynological study of three Upper Triassic deposits from Lower Carnian succession in northern part of Central Siberia. Compares interpretations of three studies of bivalves, nautiloids and ammonoids including present study. Compiles chart of distribution of miospores with wide stratigraphic ranges recorded from Carnian in northern Central Siberia. Concludes that palynoflora of Siberia was more uniform throughout Late Triassic, and that Carnian and Norian stages have miospore assemblage that is recognizable in wide belt through Arctic Canada and northern Eurasia.
