Abstract: Compares methods used to interpret multifrequency acoustic data from CCAMLR 2000 Krill Synoptic Survey. Total biomass of krill in southwest Atlantic estimated using SDWBA model and frequentist statistical analysis approach is 109.4 million tonnes with standard deviation (SD) of 11.38 million tonnes, whereas Bayesian Maximum Entropy (Max-Ent)-based image reconstruction framework determined most-likely krill biomass estimate for same area to be 207.98 million tonnes (SD 10.08 million tonnes)
