| Abstract: | Examines evidence of effects of climate change on distribution and abundance of marine species in OSPAR Commission maritime area, focusing on effects that may be linked to changes in sea surface temperatures. OSPAR maritime area includes Barents Sea, eastern North Atlantic and adjacent portion of Arctic Ocean. Finds that oceanographic conditions influence marine biota in OPSAR maritime area; also that oceanographic conditions are changing, as evidenced by narrative and analytic information examined by ICES throughout maritime area. |
